My Project

I teach K-6 health and physical education at a large, rural, Title I school. We have approximately eleven hundred students in our building. Each year around Halloween in physical education, we get out black lights, decorate the gym, and have special glow PE classes. This is a favorite gym class for many students all year long!

This year, I am asking for new games and activities to continue to make Glow Week special.

Beach balls, cup stacking, basketball; all of these will be awesome, new stations that students will love.

I am also asking for updated decorations to really light up the gym. Halloween blow-ups will really make it special.

Extension cords and adapters will help with a safe setup for the entire week.

Every year, to make sure every student feels included, we give out glow bracelets. We have some left from last year, but will need more to make sure every student receives one.

All of these items will help our students move and be active in physical education. I also always save as much as possible to use for years to come!
