Many students at my school understand proper hygiene but do not have the resources at home to follow through. They know they should be wearing deodorant, brushing their teeth, taking showers, etc. but do not have the supplies to keep their own bodies clean. My goal is to be able to provide deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to 4th-6th grade students who are in need of these items. By supporting my project, you can help me ensure that as their health teacher I am able to provide all students in need with deodorant, toothpaste, and tooth brushes. It is hard to come to school and learn when basic needs are not met. If they are able to arrive in the morning clean and ready to learn our school will improve as a whole. These simple hygiene supplies will improve self-esteem and remove at least one stress from my 4th-6th grade students!
