Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help me create a memorable activity for my first graders by providing them with their very first GLOW DAY! Students will experience different academic centers that glow in the dark with the help of your donation that will provide the black light lamps, glow in the dark dice, ring toss, plastic cups for STEM activities, paint for crafts, paint for t-shirt making, balloons and streamers for decoration and STEM centers, and highlighters to write with.
We will use the GLOW DAY centers as a review to SPARK their knowledge of all that has been taught this year, before students are given year end assessments in my classroom.
I will also use this activity as a way to celebrate the completion of STATE testing! I plan on having parents donate a white t-shirt for their child and we will use the markers and paint to make GLOW shirts for the day of.
