Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This semester, students have been engaging in financial literacy learning through the use of a classroom economy. Every day, students earn classroom money for hard work, completing tasks, and good behavior. At the end of the week, students are able to redeem their money for glorious goodies.

I am looking for incentives such as pens, squishies, books, and other things to incentivize students in our classroom economy.

Students have to balance their wants from their needs by paying for rent, supplies, and more.

I am also seeking new materials to replace ones that have worn down like a pencil sharpener to sharpen student pencils, white board erasers for students to use with their individual whiteboards and books for independent reading. These items will help us continue through the 2024 school year.
