This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My eighth grade US History and AVID students and seventh grade math are an energetic group of tweens and teens who love to socialize and have fun.

They come from a tough and gritty neighborhood in Northern California.

Our student body is a melting pot of cultures: African-American, Asian, Filipino, and Latino. Many of our students live in poverty and have extremely difficult living situations.

Please contribute to our classroom project to help these students receive the very best education possible! They deserve it.

My Project

My students need a printer to print their assignments. Most of my students do not have a printer. My students often require a printer to print their work. As a teacher, I could use the printer to print out student assignments and have these available for students to collect.

Having a classroom printer would provide access and equity to my students, many of whom come from impoverished homes.

A new printer would help my students to have the necessary resources to become successful scholars. The extra large mouse pad will secure the printer to our table to prevent it from sliding.
