This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students aren’t afraid to ask me for things or say what they are feeling. Recently my students have been mentioning they are hungry and “what time is lunch?” Some students have asked to go to the nurse to get something to eat because they are so hungry they can’t focus, this also causes them to miss out on in class instruction. Having snacks for them in class will help students get their needs met while also not miss out on instruction. Students have also mentioned to me they don’t have enough supplies for example whiteboard erasers. I’ve noticed them sharing their erasers with other tables and I want to get them each their own.
