My Project

Because of budget cuts, most of our students do not have access to the 3D printers in our building. As the school librarian, I am building a makerspace in the library that will include 3D printers. We added a nice fast 3D printer this year and I just received funding for a second. Each printer can run up to 4 colors at a time.

This project will give our students colorful filament choices for their their projects.

I am super excited to see what our students will design. Having access to such a fun and powerful learning tool could truly change the mindset and career paths of our middle schoolers.
