My Students

I teach in a kind, small neighborhood school. My students range in abilities from those learning letter sounds to those reading and interpreting chapter books. There are many different learning styles in my classroom. This is part of what makes my students so incredibly special. Each day is a new adventure.

Our number one goal as a class is to inspire a love for learning in one another.

Creating a positive classroom culture is key to giving my students the opportunity to learn. I love their curiosity and desire for more.

My Project

My most important goal as a teacher is to instill a love for learning. I want my students to crave knowledge and constantly want to learn more.

Part of creating a love for learning is through allowing students the opportunity to discover.

This project will be used for a variety of opportunities to spark the students curiosity and leave they asking why?

They will have the opportunity to manipulate objects in a variety of domains. They will use magnets to manipulate and discover the human bones and organs. Letters will be used to build words and phrases. A magnetic marble track will be used to build and discover different angles of gravity. I can't wait to see what they discover!
