This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Give our Title I, first-generation students the ability to change the trajectory of their lives, and those of their families through education. This book is not only entertaining, it is a deeper look at life and how we can become the masters of our destiny. Many of our students come to us reading well-below grade level. Access to high-interest, low-level books is paramount in showing students the world through reading. Help us acquire a class set of books so that students can annotate and use this book as a foundation as they move forward to create their own story.
