Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher, I work with a variety of individual needs. Most of my students are non-verbal, however they are learning to use their voice by repeating simple words or receptively touching pictures. The sound puzzles, microphone, sound books, and keyboard will help them immensely.

My students are thrilled to come in every day and press a button that we recorded "hello" to communicate to their friends and peers.

By receiving all of the buttons to record, the possibilities are endless!

Also, we have a variety of sensory needs. The sensory swing and mat will help them to self-regulate.
