Help me give my students an iPad so they can access language in new and innovative ways.

My students include a wide range of children with different cultural, linguistic, and developmental backgrounds. As a speech-language pathologist (SLP), I have students on my caseload from developmental preschool through 8th grade with the following difficulties: articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication (pragmatics), and fluency (stuttering). I help my students become functional communicators within their academic and social environment. This looks different across the age ranges and diagnoses. This current project will be focused on the developmental preschool I serve. These are students from age 3 to 5 with a communication delay.
My ultimate goal for my students is provide a form of communication to help them successfully navigate their worlds.
The technology of an iPad can assist my students in a multitude of ways. For some, an iPad with the right communication apps becomes the voice they never had. For others, an iPad provides the visual support needed to make a lesson click. The possibilities are truly endless!
An iPad will allow my students to access language in new and innovative ways. I've seen first hand how this technology can seamlessly enable students to find their voice and speak for themselves.

There are countless iPad programs/apps being made to address speech and language deficits. I've seen first hand how this technology can seamlessly enable students to find their voice and speak for themselves. Thank you for your time and consideration!
