My students need these privacy dividers so that they can feel safe that no one is borrowing their answers. We have students that like to use other's answers to complete assignments.
This year is my second year in second grade and it has been awesome! My students have made my transition from third grade to second grade a wonderful experience. During this process, I have become more aware of the skills that my students need to become successful in their everyday life. My students have some disadvantages to other students due to the funding that our school gets, in addition to the area that our school district is located. I have to say, that this does not seem to get my students down. We strive every day to do our best with what we have and we work through everything with a positive attitude. We have learned to count on each other to get through some of our obstacles.
My students also have learned a lot about becoming good problem solvers in their daily activities.
This is such a hard skill to teach because this teaches them that they can be independent and still make good choices working with one another.

These privacy dividers will allow my students to feel comfortable and at ease taking quizzes and tests.
Test anxiety is one thing but having others looking at your test is another. I want my students to feel comfortable that their work is their own, and that no one can copy it When taking a test, all they will have to do is put up their divider and they will be fine. Right now we are using file folders and they are not very sturdy. They are always falling down. So we really need your help so that we can concentrate on the test and not the falling folders.
