My Project

Thank you for considering our project. Our school curriculum teaches about animal & plant life cycles. We desire to supercharge the student’s learning with real world applications. This funding would provide 6 classrooms with indoor life cycle stations. Many of our student are from low-income families, military households, ESL students, have learning disabilities, and attention deficits.

We are requesting funding to purchase plants, insects, and tadpoles.

This purchase will enable to observe the life cycles of a plant, butterfly, a meal worm, tadpoles, a ladybug, praying mantises, and an ant farm.

Our students are very excited about the possibility of having these hands on experiences with the insects, plants, and frogs. We know it will enhance student motivation for scientific experiments, vocabulary, related literature, related math activities, writing about their experiences, and technology applications.
