Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second graders are energetic and full of curiosity with an eagerness to learn. My classroom and school provide a safe learning environment that is helping students integrate technology in effective ways that target different learning styles. My class reflects boys and girls in a dual language program, gifted and talented, as well as special education and Title I. Each student has the opportunity to use educational technology to create and embraced the use of many educational apps that enhance our curriculum and provide an avenue for problem solving and creativity. Almost everything they do is connected to technology.
My Project
Our recent turn of events in the age of COVID19 and like many students around the world, our school has moved to distance learning. A 'green screen' will help me use digital creations for digital presentations.
When school resumes, my goal is provide my students with a Green Screen dedicated for hands-on creativity by giving them the opportunities for problem solving through digital presentations.
My student will be able to create products that keep them engaged in creative thinking, such as illustrations of moveable parts of diagram, act out math problems, explain the water cycle through various processes, and much more.
