This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are on the junior varsity track team. They are needing fitness trackers to count their time and distance. It is cumbersome to run with a phone. These fitness trackers are small and can be clipped on their clothing if they do not want to wear them on their wrists. The athletes will use the trackers to sync to their fitness app to chart their improvement during practice and meets. The students are also needing new socks to make running more comfortable. These items will help the new runners on the track team as they gear up for the sport. Being part of a team sport allows the athletes to run with other students who have similar interests.
