Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting flower seeds, Aerogarden seed pods and filters, and flower pots.

Growing flowers in the classroom provides hands-on learning opportunities, fostering an understanding of plant life cycles, and an appreciation for nature's beauty!

All three 4th grade classes will use the flower seeds and seed pods to refill our Aerogarden. The technology of the Aerogarden system allows us to monitor and control essential elements such as light, water, and nutrients, ensuring optimal growth conditions for our flowers.

Once our flowers have flourished, we will transplant them into flower pots, which will serve as our end of year gifts.

I plan to collaborate with our Cricut Crafting Club to write "I love watching you grow!" on each of the flower pots.
