it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our GT students are living in one of the lowest socio-economic areas. With that being said, our GT are only able to experience some things in life to help them excel in knowing the world around them. These students work hard, and have higher expectations than the avergae student would; whether it be about their grades, or about their characteristics. These children in this population love to learn and sometimes even schools us teachers about a thing or two.
My Project
My students need shirts for their presentation on GT night April 24, 2018. The most expensive items are the shirts for the kids and teachers. The shirts will represent student privilege of being part GT. We are having GT night April 24, 2018. The GT teachers would like to have shirts for the GT kids who will be presenting their projects to their parents and peers. The GT teachers will also have a shirt supporting the kids.
Students will have the benefit of feeling proud they are a part of an elite group, and have a momento from years to come.
These shirts will make students feel like they can excel in anything and be successful. We have 42 students and 6 GT teachers who will need a shirt representing the GT department.
We would appreciate help to make our kids feel confident that they are the future's success.
