Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are resilient, challenging, and active! They are resilient in that they don't give up. There have been times and situations that my students have faced that brought down bigger people than they are, yet they, still come to school, eager to learn. They may need extra cuddles here and there, but overall, they've bounced back better than some adults. My students are challenging in that I need to stay on my toes and fine a nice balance between the education gaps of my students. And for this I rely on my fellow gifted teachers to help me find engaging lessons to fill in the gaps so that I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

I can spend more time caring for my students' emotional needs, rather than wasting time to focus on how to create the assignments when it's already been done for me by other talented teachers.

I have a wide selection of teachers I can pull from to help my students and keep their minds active and engaged.
