Help me give my students a proper remote learning experience with professional podcasting studio equipment so I can create high quality computer science videos highlighting hardware, software development, web design, and cybersecurity principles.
Students in the Computer and Information Sciences pathway are exposed to every facet of Information Technology. As a Title I school, our students come from many different backgrounds, socially and economically, but their passion and interest in learning is constant across the board.
Students want to be successful.

My Project
As a teacher in a school of about 2000 students, the third largest in the state of Delaware, we are seeing more and more students opt into remote learning. In order to provide a professional and easy to understand remote teaching experience I find it necessary to acquire professional equipment to provide synchronous and asynchronous professional content. In the field of computer science there is programming, hardware engineering, computer aided drafting/design, cyber security, web design, and ethical and social relationships to technology. I teach a 3 level TechEd CTE pathway and in order to cover all this content I would like to produce professional quality content for synchronous and asynchronous learning.
It is important to note that ALL of this equipment will be for classroom use ONLY.
The microphones, camera, chair, external hard-drive, and anything else, is solely for the use of instruction in and from the classroom...including for any student projects that require recording.
In addition to using this equipment in the classroom to teach hybrid students synchronously and asynchronously, this equipment will also be available to students in the class to work on projects to help other students be aware of cyber best practices.
This will also come into play during the final project for my CIS300 course where students are required to perform a security audit on the school, including a full risk assessment and present the results via a remote presentation to the school administration and security resource officer.
