Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As graduation day approaches, our seniors prepare to continue their next journey. Many will go off to college, and many will join the workforce. Nevertheless, I want to celebrate their accomplishments. They have worked tirelessly and dedicated their time and effort to their education. Their hard work and perseverance do not go unnoticed. Therefore, I will host a Decision Day Celebration to celebrate our students. There will be delicious food, great music, fun games, and amazing raffle prizes.
I have come up with a Donors Choose Project in hopes that we can get donations to sponsor our prizes.
Everything on the list is essential. The items, such as highlighters, pencils, folders, planners, etc. can all be used to help the students stay organized. The plushies are for emotional support and the owala bottles are necessary for the students to stay hydrated while going from class to class or while they are working. I made sure to add things to the list that I know will be helpful to the students as they pursue their goals in college or the workforce.
