I have 16 third graders! Our school is in a small rural community. Even though our community is small, it is so supportive of it's students, schools, and school staff. While many of our students face hardships, they all come to school with bright smiles and are eager to learn. Their love of school and learning shows each and everyday and is truly inspiring.
Our students know the rigor it takes to succeed, and meet that challenge every day!
We have a four day school week. We get five days of school into four days, every week. While they know how to work hard, they also love to joke around and be their goofy selves. Our room is always full of laughter and the classroom community they have built together is so fun to watch.
I am so proud of how hard our students work and even more proud of their eagerness to help others and be a grade level family!
Our district runs on a four day school week, so we get five days of learning into four days. This leads to long lessons and students needed to focus for extended periods of time. While our students all know what it takes to succeed, they are still typical wiggly third graders!
I would love to be able to provide them with an opportunity to move during our long lessons, that will not take away from our instructional time.
With the introduction of wobble stools, our class will be able to wiggle and wobble at their desks while remaining engaged and focused on the lesson. This will help reduce the need for brain breaks, maximizing the time we have during the day!
I am so proud of all of the hard work our students put in everyday, and would love to be able to support them further on their journey to being outstanding scholars!
