My Project

At our high school, students are in need of basic necessities. Our staff, including teachers, guidance counselors, social workers, and support staff all take pride in the fact that we put the student first. We have a leadership class that has identified student need and the most prominent need mentioned is basic hygiene.

Students will have access to the Royal Care Closet to learn consistent hygiene and self care.

The staff and peer counseling group will have the ability to make referrals of students in need. Students will also be able to request items whenever they are in need.

Allowing students access to things like soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and face wash will increase a sense of pride and independence in our students. All students should have the ability to care for themselves.
