My Project

Having places to store and organize our classroom materials makes a big difference when navigating our emotions. Being able to find materials easily while frustrated is a big tool in helping regulate feelings. Having a designated storage bin and drawers to put calm down materials in can help students focus and get back in the routine of things. Often when students are feeling out of control, going to a place where they know exactly where things are at can help reset their behavior.

Color makes everything more inviting!

By donating to our project, students will have materials printed in color for them to use instead of only black and white. Having colored ink will hopefully make behavior charts more inviting and engaging for students to use.

Students will also have new fidgets, pillows, flip cards. and headphones to use to help calm themselves down if overwhelmed.
