I teach 8th grade English in a rural county. Like most of America we are fighting the rise of obesity in our students.
Even though we take time each day to take them outside we can't get them moving. We have a basketball court and a field. Why don't they play? We have no toys!
Having basketballs for our empty court and balls for our empty fields would get our kids moving. This small break in the day would revitalize their minds and their bodies.
Your donation would encourage our video game generation to get the lead out. Each day that the students are active it helps to improve their mental and physical health. No matter where you are in the country you can effect their life.
