My students are a group of fun-loving, curious, energetic folks! They love hands-on experiments and projects. They are curious about the world around them! My students strive for excellence as they explore real-life issues.
Located in one of the world's most beautiful cities, our school provides a place for students to find an edge in the ever challenging world.
My students come from a range of backgrounds, making us a richer, more diverse community. We work to learn from each other, and all that we bring to the table.
To help them reach their goals, I try to provide a variety of activities and projects that engage them where they are, and to reach every learning style. While I may have a few more gray hairs because of them, my students are the reason I get up in the morning, and lose sleep at night. I hope to give them all the resources I can to help them succeed in this world!
By having triple beam balances, students will be able to take and make quality measurements all year long. Adding meter sticks to the mix, the students are on their way to knowing how to use some of the basic scientific tools. The students measure mass and distance as we study plants, work, machines and electricity!
Students love watching scientific videos and learning about their world!
Having a full set of headphones will allow students to explore independently, as well as watching teacher-made videos.
Hopefully by securing the items above, I can continue to engage students in science while having fun!
