Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a high poverty area in which they sometimes lack many of the resources and supplies I am requesting due to budget cuts or other circumstances.

My students are primarily African American and Hispanic students.

My students are enthusiastic learners who enjoy hands on activities and are so eager to learn new things. They are looking forward to this new school year. They enjoy art, science, and anything that gets them up and moving!

My Project

I am requesting blank softcover and hardcover books for a homophone and art/poetry book we want to create this school year. There are many things I need to print for my students on a daily basis. This is why I am requesting ink. The pocket chart stands and pocket charts that come with the stands are perfect to hold center activities. Grammar is so important for Language Arts and Writing. The books I am ordering will give my students a clearer understanding of each concept.

My project is so important because it provides material that will be used on a daily basis to print, for language arts and art, and for centers where students can work independently and reinforce skills and concepts.
