Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first grade students love school but some days can be hard. We work with mindfulness everyday and they have learned so much. The bean bag chairs, pillows, play doh and moon lamp will give them a way to deal with stress and it will help them handle a tough day without making poor decisions.

I'd love for them to have a special place called a calming corner so they have a safe place to destress on those hard days.

Thank you for helping them get the most out of their school day.
