My students are 6th graders, and my classes are between 20 -25 students each hour. More than half of the students come from low-income households. I have students on all academic levels and several English language learners. Most students love hands on activities and learn from hands on projects. They are always excited when they know these activities are coming up.
My Project
My students love all hands-on learning. Using STEAM projects is an exciting way to learn all of our objectives. I teach an elective STEAM class where we focus on learning through art. We don't always have the materials we need to complete our units. My students would be very excited if you could help us purchase these items. We are currently working on learning the color wheel and how to use these colors to create different shades and tones. This is one of the many projects we would use our paint for.
