Help me give my students get ready for the next school year. The start of this year was crazy with the number of students who needed something else, I want to help alleviate the need to find it.
This year has almost come completely to an end, and I miss my 29 little souls so much! These kiddos all come from bilingual backgrounds and are some of the hardest workers I have ever seen. They are kind and honest, brave and proud. They are truly amazing kids.
These kids have made me so proud over the course of the year and have made all the challenges we have encountered worth it!
My Project
When we started this year, I learned so quickly how many of my students were not able to get the needed supplies from their lists. Instead of asking the families to buy anything else, I was able to help give their kids what they needed at our first family night. I want to do that again this year!
Coming from the scary and abrupt end of our in-school school year, I want to make sure that the classroom in the fall is as warm and inviting as possible.
Having some simple school supplies for students who might struggle to get them on their own in just the first step in making sure that I set up the right environment for all my kiddos.
By doing the little things for families, it makes a big impact. I know my students, those who'll loop with me and those new to me, will appreciate the little things as I saw them appreciate so much this year.
