I teach in a title 1 school with 23 awesome students in my kindergarten class!
My students aim to please! They want to do a good job and they generally do their best to make sure that happens. Like all 5 year olds, sometimes they have a hard time sitting still!
My Project
I would like to get stability balls for my students. These balls have been proven to help students improve their posture, and remain attentive while in the classroom. It has also been proven to help students with ADHD remain attentive. For the other students, I would like to get the stability seats. These are cushions that the students sit on which also help them with their posture and focus.
These stability balls and seats can give my students an outlet to get all of their wiggles out while still learning at the same time!
It has been proven that moving stimulates the brain, so why not take advantage of that!?
I hope that these stability balls and seats will help my students learn efficiently, while also allowing them to move and be kids!
