The generosity of donors like you has given me the ability to help aid my students when needed. I have created a care closet that has personal care items that I can give to the students when they request it. I have created a system that will keep it anonymous so that the students will feel comfortable asking for things. If the students have the items that they need to keep up their personal hygiene, that gives them one less thing to worry about while they are at school. \r\nWhen the students are not worrying about their personal hygiene, I believe it gives them the confidence to raise their hand, speak up, and join in group projects. I like being able to give the students the opportunity to take ownership of their own well-being (to a certain extent). I am glad that I am able to give the students the chance to get the supplies they need, and it's because of generous donors that I have this wonderful opportunity. \r\nThe students were excited when they saw the boxes in the classroom, they knew what had arrived. They asked a lot of questions as I went over each item that would be available. I had around six requests as soon as the care closet was set up.\r\nOverall, I believe that this care closet is a great addition to the classroom and will help a lot of students. Thank you again for your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1766947117814,"projectUrl":"project/care-closet/9851201/","projectTitle":"Care Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10186548_orig.jpg?crop=1895,1895,x393,y372&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761074918085","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10186548"},{"teacherId":10186548,"projectId":9659917,"letterContent":"I want to say thank to those who helped fund this project. It provided a class set of headphones with microphones to my students. Some of my students had headphones but only one or two had microphones. They were overjoyed when they came in and were super excited to use them to learn. They use every day during their lessons. In today's world technology is in everything and education is no exception. \r\nThe students use the headphones in conjunction with a reading program that helps them with fluency and phonics. They get to read aloud and then the computer program assists and works to boost their phonics, pronunciation, and their fluency. The students enjoy reading aloud in this way because it is personalized to them and helps increase their confidence. Most students shy away from reading out loud, but this program with the headphones has made a huge difference. This would not be possible without the help from donors like you. Again, thank you to everyone that helped me fund this project, my students and I are very grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1757527608762,"projectUrl":"project/listen-up/9659917/","projectTitle":"Listen Up","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10186548_orig.jpg?crop=1895,1895,x393,y372&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761074918085","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10186548"},{"teacherId":7475364,"projectId":9006083,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding my project!
