Working with special needs students it is often difficult to get the students to speak let alone speak loudly. There are students who speak fluently using sentences, phrases, words and sometimes just a single sound. These microphones will help my students when engaging in social skills activities: boardgames, card games, activities that involve them going from classroom to classroom presentations, and having simple conversations with peers and staff. It will also encourage more communication between students, staff and community workers. Hopefully the students will engage with their peers more willingly.
