My Project

My students work very hard to show others what they know! They have amazing strengths, but also some challenges. They need specialized instruction to help them grow. Some things that help them grow are having multiple opportunities to practice a skill. We like to create many task boxes and laminated materials that allow students to practice their skills.

Students also learn best when they have multisensory opportunities to learn.

Things like smelly markers provide a new way to pactice skills.

My students also tend to have very restricted diets due to their disability. We all know students learn best when their basic needs are met, so having some of their favorite foods available during snack time is important!
