My Project

Donating sensory items for special needs students can make a meaningful difference in their daily learning and emotional well-being. Many students with sensory processing challenges, autism, ADHD, or other developmental differences benefit from tools that help them regulate their senses and stay focused in the classroom. Items such as weighted blankets, fidget tools, noise-canceling headphones, textured mats, chewable jewelry, and calming lights can provide comfort and improve concentration. Schools, therapy centers, and organizations like Autism Speaks and The Arc often welcome donations of new sensory materials to support their programs. By contributing these resources, donors help create inclusive learning environments where every student has the opportunity to feel supported, engaged, and successful.
