My Project

I cannot believe it is already time to start thinking of the upcoming school year! As we begin to wind down our 23-24 school year, I have been thinking of how I want to set up the physical layout moving into the new year. I will have several more students in my upcoming group of 5th and 6th graders, so maximizing space will be super important. Additionally, small group instruction will be high priority on my list next year, so I want to make sure we have the perfect small group areas hosting 4 students at one time for collaborative work spaces.

The classroom atmosphere is vital to in allowing students to feel calm and comfortable in their classroom environment.

With new flooring coming in over the summer, I want to create a warm and nurturing place for my learners. I am requesting new student chairs to replace our older ones. These chairs are easily mobile to create the best social-learning groups possible. I know my students learn best when they feel comfortable with their peers and it promotes AMAZING math conversations! These resources will get us "in gear for next year" and your generosity will be greatly appreciated!
