My Project

I plan to use these materials to provide a work station that is at floor level and is a flexible work station for kindergarteners to read and work together. Many of my kids choose to sit on the floor or the rug with clipboards when we do work so having a small group spot on the floor would be really popular.

In my classroom I really value student choice and encourage students to be leaders of their own learning environment, this includes the choice of where to sit and learn.

I love giving my students choice whenever possible and this table and wiggle seats I think would not only increase choice but also increase focus in my classroom. Kindergarteners often need to move their bodies to be listening and learning and these tools will help them!
