Getting Comfy With Our Feeling

Help me give my students flexible comfy floor seats to come together in a small group setting to learn about feelings and self regulation with literature.

My Project

All children are a gift to this world and start school with their own experiences both positive and traumatic. Children need to learn that feelings come and go and how we deal with those feelings is fundamental. They need to learn that everyone does not feel the same way and to respect others.They need to learn to calm down then use words.

Social and Emotional learning must be taught just like Math and Language Arts.

Sitting with a small group of children in comfy chairs learning about feelings is needed even more today. Together we will discover different feelings in different situations through literature. Being in a small group will create a positive family atmosphere and a higher level of sharing and learning unlike a whole group setting.

My school is a title I school and the needs for all students need to be met to reach their optimal level of success.
