My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-2 and provides rigorous academics, excellent teachers and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools. Our goal is to prepare our students for the future by providing them with academics and character education to allow them to grow into successful young learners and eventually adults!

With young learners, I am constantly looking to find creative ways to engage them in their learning and make students comfortable while learning.

Our students are challenged more than ever in schools today. My goal is to allow students the opportunity to have the best tools to make them happy, comfortable and successful!

My Project

My students have recently started Daily 5. Some parts of daily 5 include read to self, read to someone, and listen to reading.

Students will be able to choose a book they want to listen to with the portable cd players rather than having to listen to them as a group.

This will also allow them to work at their own pace with the response.

Students would also be able to read in a comfortable area which will allow them to stay more focused.

Boogie boards will allow students to be able to work on weekly words and spelling patterns in a fun way during our work with words center.
