My Students

"Getting kids moving is a key factor in tackling obesity and health problems among the young." - Magnus Scheving. This quote by Scheving explains the importance of inspiring my students to be active by teaching them lacrosse.

My students are inquisitive, self-motivated, inspiring, active, and an awesome bunch.

They inspire me to do the best that I can for them because of their love of learning. They love to be active and really enjoy physical education. They love to learn new things and challenge themselves.

My Project

This project was inspired by my students because they love to be physically fit and learn new things. My students are requesting badminton equipment such as racquets and birdies to be able to learn about the sport of badminton. They want to be exposed to badminton to continue to be active by learning a new sport. They are also requesting more softball equipment such as softball gloves, softballs, and catcher helmet in order to complete our set so that they will be able to practice and play successfully. With these resources, my students will be able to learn the game of badminton and softball and keep active for 60 minutes. They are excited to be able to to create teams and team names, have team captains, and play a class tournament for a little competition. Students will collaborate, communicate, encourage each other, and practice sportsmanship. These are skills that are also necessary for the classroom.
