My Students

I have 21 beautiful second grade students. All eager to learn! I have students who range in ability from severely below grade level to above grade level. Some students have Individual Educational Plans (IEP's). I'm working hard to have an inclusive classroom.

I have some students with dyslexia, SLD, Speech/language concerns, or ASD.

I am always looking to learn innovative ways to make me a better teacher!! I want to make sure, I stay current with all the new teaching and learning strategies!

My Project

I am requesting the registration fee to attend a professional development conference called, “Get Your Teach On” June 28 – July 1, 2020. It would mean the world to me if I could attend the conference because... I WANT to be a better teacher! I want to learn new and innovative ideas from these amazing teachers! Funding of this project would allow me to develop new, exciting lesson experiences and increase student engagement in my classroom. Get Your Teach On National Conference will provide me with this opportunity! “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates.
