My students are in 2nd /4th grades in an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) resource classroom. These children come to my classroom for small group; differentiate instruction to help them with reading (comprehension skills, fluency, vocabulary, phonics and phonic awareness) writing and math classes. All of my students have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) and have been identified by their teachers of having trouble learning in a conventional learning environment. My students are amazing kids, but need a lot of encouragement. Most of the time, my students have to work twice as hard as the other students, at our school, due to their learning disabilities. Some of my students are also on the Autism spectrum. We are an A+ school elementary school, A Blue Ribbon School and we are in Florida. We have over 800 students at our school and we are the largest in our district.
