My Students

I teach in a rural community that serves a variety of students. Our school is identified as a Title I school which means our district has a number or percentage of low-income children.

I teach a WONDERFUL community of first graders!

In our classroom, each student is valued and an essential component of what makes our "classroom team." We work together, play together, read together, write together, smile together, sometimes cry together, learn together, love together...yet, most importantly, SUCCEED together!

My Project

The 2020 Get Your Teach On Conference will provide some of the most current research-based strategies that will light my classroom on fire! I will spend two days with Hope and Wade King and the Get Your Teach On Team as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education and give their tips, tricks, best practices, and teacher secrets to building a successful and engaging classroom!

From what's been stated, I should leave feeling empowered, motivated, and prepared to create dynamic lessons that will challenge my students and leave them hungry for more!
