My Project

This project is for outdoor dramatic play and hands-on activities in kindergarten.

We are building our outdoor play area with materials for social skills building activities that students can do at recess.

Our outdoor playground is lacking in activities for students who do not like to play on the apparatus or on the field. This lemonade stand will be the beginning of our outdoor dramatic play station that we will rotate with social growth activity themes throughout the year. The decorations and supplies will help to make this theme enjoyable and build their strength in make believe social role playing.

We will use the planting pots for our garden theme that will be incorporated into this first lemonade stand playset. The shopping bags and keychains will be personalized by each student as a fun project that will make their role playing personalized and fun each day.
