This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life and spunk, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I ask them, "Are you ready?" and they reply, "We are ready!" I want them to know I believe in them, and they can do anything.

I teach at a high-poverty school in Northern California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Despite many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so that they can be successful.

My Project

I have previously purchased writing boards and they are so amazing. With the possibility of a return to school, I would love to have a set to also have in my classroom along with a set to keep at home as students will likely be in a hybrid model.

To allow each student to have their own magic board at home as well as in school I need an additional set.

Kiddos love these and I have found them to be an amazing tool. The magic boards have been so motivating to get kiddos to want to write.
