My Students

I teach at an amazing school full of diversity. We have over seven hundred students and over one hundred are English as a second language students. One hundred are Advanced Program students, along with a robust regular education program and special needs program. We call ourselves "The Greatest School on Earth," and we truly are! I teach our digital learning, where students not only learn computer skills, but they participate in project-based learning. I get to teach all of our amazing students, either in a group setting, small groups, or individually. I am blessed to teach all of our students!

I want all of the students that enter my room to have amazing experiences because they are amazing and exceptional students!

My Project

Many of my small groups record themselves speaking for videos and projects. In a classroom filled with students, there is NEVER a time when everyone is quiet so that students can record. There are always voices in the background. There is not enough space outside the room for everyone to have privacy and quiet.

With these sound proof boxes, they can do just that...get rid of the noise...and record their videos.

Another benefit of these boxes is the privacy that students need to make their videos. They don't have to worry about another student watching or listening to them. Using these sound proof boxes will allow the quality of their videos to greatly improve.
