I teach an extremely talented and unique group of 5th graders in Kentucky. They range from advance program students to students with special needs and ESL students. We are considered a school with moderate poverty, but do not qualify for additional state funds. Yet, each of our at-risk students need the opportunity to have the same resources as students at other schools. Grants through DonorsChoose.org have helped provide my students with valuable materials I could not have purchased on my own. I am grateful for donors that understand student and teacher needs.

About my class
