This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my 1st Grade students because they are full of curiosity, energy, and kindness.

Every day, they come ready to learn and support one another.

Most do not come prepared for class.

A new carpet space would give them a comfortable, organized area to gather and grow as a community.

Headphones will help them focus during independent learning time, and fresh school supplies will ensure each child has the tools they need to succeed.

These resources will create a more engaging, supportive environment where every student can thrive and feel excited about learning.
