Creating a space for my 1st grade students to read comfortably is something I have been wanting to do for a while. Allowing them the chance to sit in a relaxed setting and dive into great books is something that will help foster a love of reading. Students will also be able to use this space when they are writing about their days or in response to the stories they have been reading. This space will provide them with a place in the classroom where they are able to move around and develop a love of reading in comfort. The use of pillows and a bench with storage will be a great addition to this reading space.

About my class
