My Students

My students are happy and love school. These sweet 3rd graders are the 1st graders we sent home mid-March of 2020 during the pandemic. This happened right as they were on the cusp of reading. Let’s help them out by getting literature and the tools for good phonics in their hands.

My Project

I am so excited about my project that will help my students learn to read and love to read. 3rd grade is such an important catch all grade where we really need to make sure that our students have a solid reading foundation. The StoryWorks will be such an awesome addition to the classroom. Students love to read stories in magazine form and the pictures and illustrations are captivating and draw in their little minds and fill them with curiosity. The digital version of StoryWorks will be a great way to have a home connection, as students will be able to access this at home.

The Magnet chips and wands are powerful tools to help with phonemic awareness and spelling.

The Trolley will be awesome for me to put all of my Phonic tools in and will help me be able to move about the room and help each student at their desk. The trolley will also be a great tool to have during circle time with my class. I will be able to post learning targets and pre-teach or re-teach lessons with a small group.
