Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These two carpets will be gatherings places in the art room for students to show and tell their brilliant ideas and creations. My students love to talk and talking helps them process their ideas and learning. They need cozy comfortable places in the art room to do this.

Art is the highest expression of human communication.

The larger carpet will be for "Sharing Corner" and the smaller will be for "Creation Station." Currently, students only can share at their tables, but the art room is large and I would love to be able to create these special places for them to engage with each other in meaningful learning.
